This bar is made of polished steel with polished sleeves, 300 lb. statical test, 1 1/8 diameter. The sleeves are pinned, not one piece construction and are cut to 9 ΒΌ. The inside dimensions are the same as all other 7 Olympic bars so this bar will fit on a normal Olympic size bench. more info

This bar is 6′, but will fit olympic benches and cages. Only weighs 15, but is rated to 300, plenty enough for many people. If you have the space for a full size bar, no biggie. But this beats standard bars (the 1″ kind at 6′ or 7′, not the regular olympic ones, of course!) by 50 pounds in weight capacity, and is 1 foot shorter to boot. I have a full size bar in my rack, but I love to use this when I want to do stuff outside my rack, where I have less horizontal space to deal with, unless I want to smack it into my dumbell rack, or on the other side of my room, my window! I use it for strict Stiff legged deadlifts, curls, overhead press, and barbell rows. (stuff I’d rather do outside the rack.)
